Except that it is bad to be a gear head who is working just to pay the bills, and can't afford to even look at most of those cars, or any car that isn't essential for a main daily purpose.

I wish the economy befitted it.

And there are still a few segments missing...

Truly sporty compact CUV. Likely candidate: Turbo XV Crosstrek with WRX or STI guts, real AWD and a manual gearbox.

Truly sporty AWD sport coupe. Likely candidate: Civic Type R with SH-AWD, or a coupe-ified Focus RS.

Truly affordable mid-engined sports car: Likely candidate: who knows... Honda could use those Civic SI and Type R engines in a mid-ship layout car between the new S660 Kei car, and the new NSX, perhaps.

But then I would be even less happy about being functionally broke.

(I hate paying the income tax bill on payday... Or homeowners insurance. Or property tax, or car insurance, or car registration... and they are only increasing by 20-30% year over year... Being a responsible tax-paying adult SUCKS.)
